Jacob and Santa

Jacob and I were in the Springs last weekend. And Jacob has been talking about Santa none stop, so I wanted him to go see Santa and get a picture. Once on Santas lap Jacob didn't know what to do. I was trying to get him to smile, he wouldn't. I told him to smile and show his teeth. And this was the out come of me saying "Show your teeth Jacob." It makes for a cute Christmas picture.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Black Friday or Thursday night

Mandy & I were so excited to go After Thanksgiving shopping that we couldn't stop talking about. Mandy said that she wanted to go to the OutLets at Castle Rock. So I got on there website to see when the stores opend and found out that the store at the OutLets open at 10pm Thanksgiving night and stay open till 9pm the following night. Mandy was so happy when I told her.

Dad drove us up there, we got there at 8:30. I'm glad we did because the closer it got to 10 the more cars were coming. Dad had gotten a front row parking spot. He stayed in the car while we went shopping. It was so bussy there. At the Coach Store there was a line out the store and down to the end of the lane (or whatever it is). Most of the stores had 50% off everything.

The lines were so long in each store that once we got into a store one of us would stand in line while the others would shop. Once someone was done shopping they would meet in line and let the other person go shopping. It was CRAZY!!!

We got back to the car around 12:30. There were still cars trying to find a parking spot. There was a line on the highway trying to get into the Outlets. I'm so glad we got there so early. Dad dropped everyone off and when it was all said and done, I crawled into bed at 2:30. I would so do this again next year.

Thanks Dad for driving us there, Love ya

Thanksgiving 2009

Jacob thinks it's funny when it's time to get dressed for the day to run and hide from you. I found him between the bed and the wall one morning while at Meme & Papas house.

This holiday I wasn't to good at taking pictures at the right times, so here's a few after everyone had eaten there meals, and was watching the football game.

Trip to Borger Texas

Jacob and I took a trip this weekend down to Texas to see Jared, Kat, Ella and Abby. Jacob had fun with Ella riding there scooters around in the garage.

For lunch on Saturday we went to The Big Texan. Jared and I did the Big Texan Challenge. We asked if no one would take pictures while we were doing the challenge because it would distract us from the challenge. That is why I don't have any pictures of Jared and I winning the challenge. But Jared finished it in 36 minutes, and I finished it in 45 minutes. It was a lot to eat but we did it.

Going back to Jared and Kats house, Jacob, Ella, and Abby all feel asleep.

When we got back Ella changed into at least 3 different dresses, each as pretty as the last. After Kat had cleaned the kitchen floor Ella wanted to help and cleaned the bathroom floors up stairs.

That night Jared and Kat got a babysitter for the kids and we went out to eat at a Restarant in the next town. We had reservations at 6:30. We drove all over the town trying to find it. We finaly arrived at 6:50. Come to find out it was a bar. But we went in and ate anyways. Good memories!! And the picture is a bad picture of me.

We left Borger Sunday at noon. I had heard that there was a storm in Denver, and the Springs, but I didn't think we would run into it. Well once we got into Oklahoma it started to rain, hail, and snow. We made it all the way to Springfield, Colorado and the highway was closed. There had been multipul accidents north of town. So Jacob and I found a Motel.

Jacob had a blast in the room, I let him jump on the bed and run around the room, letting as much energy out as he could in a 10'X10' room.

Just to be on the safe side I barricaded the door so if anyone came in it would wake me up and then I don't know what I would of done. But Jacob liked to sit on it. We waited until 10 o'clock the next morning to leave for home. We had a good trip and plenty of memories

Bubble Wrap

I received a box in the mail today and in the box was bubble wrap. Tonight Jacob pulled the bubble wrap out and started to try to pop it. He asked if I could show him a better way to do it other than using his hands because as he said "My little hands hurt trying to pop all of these" So I put it on the floor and stepped across it. Jacob loved how it made so many pops at once. Jacob would get a running start and run across it. He had fun for a good 45 minutes.

Disappointed

This is Jacob's disappointed look. He will give it to me when I tell him something he doesn't want to hear. Or he see's something that he doesn't like. When ever I see this face all I can do is laugh. (He is starting to get sick in these pictures that's why he has the dark circles under his eyes.)

Trick Or Treat

Jacob had a lot of fun this year. He did really good walking, well most of the way. Jacob loved walking up to the houses and yelling "TRICK OR TREAT" When they opened the door. Everyone loved Jacobs costume and some people even saluted him. Jacob didn't know what to do back, but we can teach him that later.

I remembered that I had these sunglasses, I think they top off Jacobs costume. He looks like a Fly Boy now.

Jacob was a little scared to go up to this house but I told him that I wouldn't let anyone hurt him or anything happen to him. So he felt a little better walking up to this house. I think these people were going to scare the older kids. But they were nice enough not to jump and scare Jacob.

Happy Halloween Everyone!!!
